Description:
Midsumma Festival is Melbourne’s premier gay and lesbian arts and cultural Festival, presenting over 100 events throughout and around the City of Melbourne over three weeks. Celebrating the diversity and talent of our community, the Midsumma Festival program is made up of a wide range of free and ticketed events and activities including visual arts, performing arts, theatre, spoken word, cabaret, film, live music, dance, sport, political forums and social debates. The 2007 Festival kicks off with Opening Night Party at Federation square on Friday 19 January and runs through to Sunday 11 February.
